Abstract
3-D data in the form of a set of transversal optical coherence tomograms of a target surface, separated by steps much smaller than the coherence length, is used to build longitudinal tomograms through the application of a suitable software algorithm. The comparison of these software generated tomograms with directly obtained longitudinal tomograms does not show significant differences.
